More Stormy

Julius was hissing at me all day b/c he smelt Stormy’s scent on me. She did really well eating last night, but this morning she ate her wet food too fast and spit it up…poor thing. I have a bowl with dry crunchies for her to munch on as a snack…appears that she prefers the wet food but was afraid to feel her it again in fear that she would scarf it down to quickly. Can you believe that Stormy can jump and sit on top of the façade?! It’s approx. 4ft. high! Tony and I have to close the doors and rubber band them shut!!! We found her twice in between the two diversions – she is definitely a kitten!!!!

All day and night Julius didn’t seem to want to go near the back of the house – he appeared to be mad. Tony and I switched with spending time with each one. But Julius really wasn’t into being social and a love bug last night. HOWEVER, this morning, was the funniest. He was acting as if things were back to normal…like when Scoote was with us. He marched downstairs and was sitting by his water and crunchie (back up) bowls…then he was laying on the treadmill as if he thought it’s his time to be down there and let “Scoote” out during the day. Isn’t that funny? This morning he had to have smelt Stormy but didn’t hiss, and was very lovey and greeted me with head butts and let me pet him. So I’m not too sure if he is too sure how to act!! LOL I’m crossing all fingers and toes.

She is OK with being confined to the back, but she know there’s much more house to explore…hopefully by the weekend we can try to socialize them. I forget to grab the gate from my mom and dad this past Saturday…maybe Tony and I can think of something else to do…time to put our thinking caps on! We def. need something tall b/c Stormy would just hop over it!!!

UPDATE 5/1/11 Wanted to send along some photo’s of Stormy and Julius this past weekend – well, 2 of many!!! Julius has “allowed” Stormy to look out “his” front door – I couldn’t believe it! He was sitting a few steps up from the landing looking out the window with her…then eventually they both fell asleep!!! LOL The other is Julius passed out on one of our pillows…and then Stormy wanted to snuggle on the couch too – she’s so full of love! Our home is so much better with her in it :o) Eryn
