I just wanted to give you the heads up on
Jack's first afternoon home. We brought him in and for the
first few minutes he was a nervous - yet brave, curiously
exploring the house. My son took the kitten up to his room (we
showed Nicky how to carry who he refers to as his "brother")
and I set up the litter box. When Jackie came down, he
immediately walked into the box and did his business. Then it
was time to introduce him to Prince..at first they were a little
weary and curious about each other so we took it slow, about 10
minutes and a few good sniffs later Jack was sprawled out in his
bed and Prince was playing with his ball on the rug next to
him. All in all, success! I'm planning to bring the carrier up
Monday morning, Wed. the latest. I wanted to thank you girls
for all your help, and for the wonderful work you do to help the
less fortunate out there. My Prince is a stray who walked in
front my car one night 10 years ago, and it was one of the best
things I ever did, it changed my life and actually prompted me
into dog grooming and eventually my own shop, where I spent 7
good years. You guys are doing a world of good with your
efforts for animals. Its tough work, but God Bless You and keep
it up =) Thanks a million, Cristina |
