Hector

As some of you know Hector was adopted. It was finalized on Saturday. Me & my boyfriend Steve went to Mike's house (the man who adopted Hector). Mike has a nice big house & a big back yard. Mike said Hector is the best dog ever. He said Hector is house trained, never barks, never jumps up, he's not aggressive at all. Mike said hector is a big baby & he loves to lick peoples' faces. Mike has a Jacuzzi in the back yard & Hector has already jumped in it, lol. Mike said he's going to get Hector a kiddie-pool. Hector seems happy, he seems to be familiar with the house. Mike is single & has a roommate. He works construction, so Hector has someone home for the most part - either Mike or his roommate. Mike says he bring Hector everywhere with him & Hector is great in the car. Mike said if anyone is ever in the area, they are free to come visit.

Thanks everyone for taking great care of this dog. Hector has been at the shelter almost 3 yrs. This is a great example of how dogs are different when they are out of the cage & given a chance.

Hector's Visit February 15, 2009 Hector came back for a visit today and he was very excited to see us, jumping up and giving us lots of kisses. He was always one of our favorites and lucked out finding a home with Mike and 3 other pit bulls in Point Pleasant. In the picture is his new brother Apache. We always remember how Hector would jump and spin in the cage but was always well behaved otherwise. He looks great and we will always be grateful that Mike gave him a chance. He really ended up in the perfect home. Now instead of living at the shelter, he can spend his days running on the beach. A true success story!
