We missed having a dog in our home.  Our Golden Retriever died one month short of her 15th birthday.  We waited for over 4 months and even though we had two beautiful cats, we missed having the love of a dog.  We looked through petfinder.com but were told by a friend to look at the dogs from Friends of Linden Animal Shelter on petfinder.com. We saw the picture of Daisy (Emma was her original name) and just had to meet her.  The foster family who had her for several months since her trip up from Georgia were fabulous - Daisy was well trained and a very good puppy! She fit right in with our family of adults.  The cats are taking their time getting to know her.

 

Daisy is very smart.  When she wants more food she brings us her supper bowl just as Snoopy does to Charlie Brown.  She loves her "buddie" and is wonderful with "kisses" as she was taught by her loving foster family.  We are forever grateful to the foster family and Friends of Linden Animal Shelter for our beloved new dog.  We thought we would never get another dog as great as our Golden - so glad we were proven wrong.
