In spite of Mother Nature's impressive efforts to rain out our Bark in the Park, our spirits could not be dampened!! While we weren't able to do all the things that we had planned, and the turn out wasn't as good as it would have been if we had a beautiful day, the Bark in the Park was still a success!!! Thank you to all who attended and donated and for the donations that were mailed in as well as any donations that were left in the donation box by volunteers who couldn't make it to the park yesterday.

Thank you to everyone who collected donations, donated baked goods (they were beautiful and delicious!!!), made baskets for the raffle, and came down to the park in all that rain to support the shelter!! There were several of our past shelter residents in attendance with their new families, and it was so satisfying to see them happy and healthy and having so much fun. Reggie, Rocky, and Valerie were there too, and all three were very well behaved and seemed to enjoy the day out very much! Rocky even discovered his true calling as a fireman!! We couldn't get him out of the truck. Thank you to the Bark in the Park planning committee for all their hard work.

The dog in the picture painting is JoAnn's dog Asha. She was adopted from us.

Kahlua and Little Man-both adopted from us by Ruthie.

This is Rusty with Yukon the Golden Retriever behind him and Asha.
