Adoption Info


Adoption Fees:

Puppies $250 +$75 span/neuter deposit*
Mixed Breed Adult Dog $200
Pure Breed & Designer Dogs $250**
Cat $95
Kitten $65 + $50 spay/neuter deposit*

 

* Puppies and Kittens less than 6 month of age require an additional deposit that will be refunded once the animal is spayed/neutered and the new owner provides a copy of the spay/neuter certificate from their veterinarian.

** A designer dog is a cross between two purebred dogs (Labradoodle, Yorkipoo, Puggle, Cockapoo, Schnoodle, etc.)
 

 

Adoption Fees are non-refundable

  

Animals adopted from us are eligible to be spayed/neutered
at participating veterinarians under the New Jersey Spay/Neuter Program

Spaying and neutering is not optional when you adopt!

All animals adopted through Friends of Linden Animal Shelter are
vetted, vaccinated and spayed/neutered (if age appropriate).

Each pet has received the following:

  • Deworming

  • One Year Rabies Vaccination (if age appropriate)

  • DHLPP inoculation (dogs)

  • FVRCP Inoculation (cats)

  • Heartworm Testing and Current on Preventative (dogs)

  • Feline AIDS and Leukemia Testing (cats)

  • Spay/Neuter (if age appropriate)**
