Kiernan

I'm sorry I haven't sent any updates until now.  I was assigned a big project at work and have been more busy then usual.

"Moose" is doing very well.  He slept almost the whole way home in the car and didn't cry once.  When I brought him home we let Bailey sniff the carrying case and let them check each other out.  Bailey hissed a little and growled a little, but his heart wasn't into it.  Nevertheless, we elected to keep "Moose" in our bedroom where we set up food/water and a litter box.  He was a little shy at first, hiding under the bed, but he is beginning to come out of his shell.

On Thursday, he escaped from the bedroom and has been bullying Bailey ever since. Haha.  "Moose" chases Bailey around the apartment and sneaks up on him to grab his tail.  He is very playful.  Bailey complains to us, but has stopped the hissing and growling. 

We have re-named "Moose".  His new name is Kiernan, which means little dark one in Irish.  He is still shy around Kevin and me, but once we pick him up he purrs for a while before running away.  I'm sure he'll become more comfortable with us as time goes on.  He didn't use the litter box we set up for him, he insisted on using Bailey's.  Kiernan is eating well, and is very active. 

Kevin and I are delighted at the addition to our little family.  I have attached two pictures of him.  He is hard to take a good picture of because he moves so quickly & is never in one place for very long :)
