My husband looked for weeks on Petfinder.com, searching for the perfect
companion for our two sons. He found a dog named Jake, a black lab/German
shepherd mix who was fun and great with kids. I went with my husband to go
"check him out" at the shelter, and fell in love at first sight with this
happy guy!
We changed his name to Bandit, and had Santa deliver him to our boys that afternoon. He was comfortable with us from the very first night, takes over my youngest son's bed as often as possible, and welcomed a kitten into the house as well. He is an extremely loving "kid", and I am so glad my husband found him.
